Forgive me, Lord, for defining my value by anything other than your fierce and tender love for me.
My worth does not come from what others think of me —nor whether they think of me at all— but that you love me so deeply that I was worth all of your pain.
You see me as beautiful, precious, beloved, cherished, and worth dying for.
Bind my heart to yours, Jesus, with your sweetness, your tenderness, your affectionate and eternal love, and keep it safe from wandering off.
